awesome and simple...great for medicine school...good details and short explanation...good for a quick review for boards and for class exams

I got this book because I do biostatistics for a living and I needed a book to help me understand the biology behind the projects I am working on. I am *very* happy with this book. The writing is excellent, the graphics are wonderfully clear, the tables are useful and the glossary and index are both good. As a bonus there is the right amount of white-space on the pages to allow me to take notes. The writing is fairly dense but there is enough repetition that it is not an overly difficult read. If you want to learn about the mechanisms and hardware of the immune system this is an excellent buy.
