This is a very well written book about phisiology of tendon-muscle unit. The languige used is technical but easy to understand. Very usefull for the therapist who wants to know the ultimate research in muscle phisiology and training. The new chapter on spasticity is very interesting and a good point of starting for new approaches to the emiplegic patient.

Richard Lieber apart from having a very deep and solid knowledge about muscle skeletal is as well a terrific writer. The clear way he expresses his opinions make us think that we did already know everything. It makes us feel more confident and encourage to keep on the track of learning more and more.
