I was excited to find out how excellent this book was. Full of pertinent information to stay current and helpful to patient care.

This book was a mandatory text for my nursing program, but I rarely used it. I thought it'd be more user-friendly...more like a dictionary/index type look-up of different tests ordered on patients, why, and & what certain results could mean (i.e. - if my patient "A" has "xyz", it should let me know what tests should be ordered or what tests I should look for as being done on my patient). Maybe I just haven't really learned how to utilize it, but for now, it's just "eh" for me.
