This is a great tool for those beginning in the ortho field. The book is a perfect size for fitting into a large scrub or lab coat pocket. The pages are thick and coated, and feel like they could stand up to a lot of abuse. This coating also allows for making notes with a dry erase marker and erasing. (I've tested it!) The only slight negative is the overall thickness of the book. The size is small enough to fit into pockets but the thickness (over an inch) can be a bit cumbersome at times.

I bought this book when I started my clinical internships and it was really helpful for reviewing before evaluations and also when determining special tests to confirm diagnoses. My CI was open to me utilizing it, and the PTAs in the clinic were asking me where I got it. It gives a good overview of anatomy and possible diagnoses with their hallmark assessment results. Would definitely recommend for anyone starting out!
