I recommend corpsmen and medics carry a copy of Ortho Notes in the field. It is rugged, compact, and thorough enough that whenever I have used it as a guide, doctors don't have much else add on to my assessment.

Use this everyday in our PT clinic. Great resource for differential diagnoses on a basic level. It is missing some lesser referenced diff dx but hits the highlights and includes red flag material.
