As a grad student, I have to buy a lot of textbooks, and more than half of them are sold back at the end of the term. Not this one! The author provides great detail and comparison of research findings for things like the timeline of phoneme acquisition. The writing is clear and concise, and the sections are well-titled. I wish I had bought the workbook! I probably will-cha-ching! but this one is worth it.
